About

12-26-2008 Starting a project you've devised months ago and seeing the thing really happening is exciting. I seeked to do something that would prove my admiration and that in the same time woud be supportive of whoever wanted enjoy it. That was where the idea of making an informative site came from.

I thought again in the cause, Xena, that many people watched, liked, but doesn't admit it, and I imagined if what I wanted was a thing that taked the whole series or if there was some character who I'd like to talk exclusively about and why. Chosen the second option, I researched and visited several sites about the series to search an inspiration, beyond fact of having watched it several times, I filed and recorded the most importants facts and events, and I worked on what I could do to make that project innovating. I thought it could be someone that has appeared quite a lot in the series, but that in the same time would cause a certain fright since it refers to someone that nobody woud expect. I stopped right there. Joxer came in the right time.

Dedicating a site to a character left corner would be a risky idea? Maybe. The same way, Joxer came into the series and his standing was a risk, but he was staying. As well as the fool showed himself to be nice and won his place, I hope my site, also fool for being under process of construction, can win its place and adapt to this matrix internet, as well as Joxer growned in the heart of the fans.

This site was planned and made with much dedication. I really don't want to stop in the middle of the way. At the same time I fell excited for it being my first site, it will work out only if I make an effort on hit my objective. It's no use making a beautiful template when I know nobody enters in a site only to keep admirying the appearance. The content needs to be good. A website is born naturally failed, but it's the content what makes the difference in the time.

The intention of registering the updates in the site and the events in the series or in any subject that somehow has to do with the thing is in this principal page. I'd say Joxer was a character that was put into the snake pit, both in the technical part and inside the story, but that fortunately had succeeded in surviving. I hope so also to the site and to what is about to come.
